Our Story

Hello, my name is Matthew Durrant. I am the founder and Managing Director of i4me.

I started my insurance career in 2004 as an office junior for a local - but very successful - broker. Over the years, I showed an aptitude for management, product development, and service proposition delivery, and was fortunate to be mentored by the Managing Director. I moved into several leadership and management roles, and developed a deep understanding of how the industry worked and how the business was run.

In 2012, the business was bought by a major consolidator, and I was retained as Regional Operations Director and then Schemes Director. Regrettably, it became clear that to deliver personalised services and products at such a scale was virtually impossible. I knew that customers valued this highly, as did I, so there was frustration on both sides. Given this, my passion for business development, and the skills I had learned over the years, it was a natural decision to start i4me in 2016.
